Norman Frowley, a senior trial attorney, has been with Jaroslawicz & Jaros for almost five (5) years, has been both an aggressive trial advocate for injured clients and an accomplished appellate attorney arguing cases before the New York State and Federal Appellate courts for over 40 years.
Mr. Frowley has won multiple million dollar awards in negligence, labor law, automobile and medical malpractice cases. He has argued and won a virtual catalogue of appellate cases, some of which have set precedents and changed the course of New York jurisprudence in favor of persons injured by neglect.
He is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School where he was a member of the Law Review. Early in his career he was an assistant district attorney in the Bronx under District Attorneys Burton Roberts and Mario Merola, trying felony cases, investigating homicides, conducting a statewide inquiry into the care of the mentally ill, and handling major appeals.
He is admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, the States of New York and New Jersey, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
He has been a lecturer for the New York State Trial lawyers Association and is a member of the faculty of the continuing legal education staff of Lawline, having lectured on slip, trip and fall accidents and the pitfalls in handling such cases. He has served as a member of the New York County Lawyers Association Appellate Advocacy Committee, and the New York City Bar Association’s Aviation Law Committee.
